Life is always taken for granted until someone you know and love is taken from you. Death seems to always take the best of us, the ones who have so much to live for. Nobody thought that something as tragic as Brandy's death could take place in our community. We never expected to lose someone so dear to us all. She had so much spirit and she did her best to succeed in everything that she did. She was always smiling and laughing even when things were difficult. She always brought a smile to the face of everyone she encountered. There is always a reason for death. Sometimes you may never come to know this reason, but you have to learn to except it as fate. It doesn't make since how someone so young and so full of life could die in a matter of seconds. I may never know why, but at least I know that she is in a better place. Her death has brought our community together in so many ways. We have been each others shoulder to cry on and have been there for each other when we have needed someone to talk to. A part of me will always mourn her passing but life goes on and we will all survive and grow stronger. At least we know that Brandy's memory will live on for all eternity and she will remain a part of our team forever.....

I'm not here, but I'm really not gone.Don't Cry
(Dedicated In Memory of Brandy Lynn Welch)
I'm walking with Jesus,
hand in hand.
It's hard to believe
this place is so grand.
With streets of gold,
what joy it brings,
To see the angels
and hear them sing.
I'm gone to with
"Him" on high.
You'll see me soon,
so please don't cry.

God gave you a child
to hold,
You cherished and
loved her.
She was more precious
than all silver and gold.
The sun couldn't outshine
her smile;
Like stars her eyes
twinkled bright;
She was a happy and
fun loving child.
With excitement she
met each new day.
Vivacious, with a
zeal for life;
She allowed nothing
to bring her
down or get in her
way.
You trained her up
in the way she should go;
And she did not depart
from it.
Good seeds you sowed.
I heard it said, God
picks the best flowers;
For his heavenly
garden.
So, he took one of
ours.
She's reunited with
the ones who have gone before;
And she'll wait patiently;
Until she can see
you once more.
God has h er in his
protective embrace;
She's truly cherished
and loved,
In his amazing grace.
If I knew it would be the last time that that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord your soul to keep.If I Knew....
If I knew it would be the last time I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and a kiss and call you back for still one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so that I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say, "I Love You," instead of assuming you KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything right. There will always be another day to say our, "I Love You's" and certainly there's another chance to s ay our, "Anything I can do's?"
But just in case I might be wrong and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day that you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss, and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, whispering in their ear, Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear.
Take time to say, "I'm
sorry" ,"Please forgive me" ,"Thank you" or "It's okay" And if tomorrow
never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

No Matter What Happens
I remember a time when
each day was long.
When the world was a
playground and my life a song,
And I fluttered through
years with barely a care,
Ignoring the future
and what waited there.
School was intriguing
and filled with delights.
I played away daytimes
and dreamed away nights.
My parents assured me
I had nothing to fear,
And that no matter what
happened, they'd always be there.
Little I knew of a world
outside home,
Where tragedy, sorrow,
and murder could roam.
All I saw were blue
skies, rainbows, and stars.
I looked past destruction
of buildings and cars.
As a child, my biggest
concern was just me;
I had to be happy, I
had to be free.
And if I was content,
I would not shed a tear,
And no matter what happened,
I still would be here.
But as I grow up, darkness
starts to set in;
My bright world has
turned into concrete and tin.
I now see the violence
I looked past before;
My friends start to
die and my hear hits the floor.
Deadly diseases claim
people I love.
There are landfills
below me, pollution above.
I often think back to
when life was a game.
But no matter what happens,
it can't be the same.
There are days when
I just want to break down and howl,
To give up completely,
to throw in the towel,
But I hold my head high
and I push my way through.
I have too much to give,
and so much to do.
And I make a vow that,
though it'll be hard.
I'll go on with a smile
and play every card.
I'll give all I can,
help others and love.
No matter what happens,
life will bloom again,
And the strength I don't
have will come from above.
So come, take my hand,
and through darkness we wil sail.
If we all join together,
we never can fail.
We'll remember to care,
remember to feel,
And no matter what happens,
our world we will heal.
